Windows 10: How do I activate windows when it does not work and says try again later?

Everytime I try to activate my windows online, it just says try again later and does not work. How do I fix this or what do I need to do to activate this?

So now I have a clean install and windows is activated, what are my steps to find out why my original windows install wasn’t activated......

I await instructions........

and apart from checking activation, I do everything else as per your suggestions......will in future check validated once a month.......
