Windows 10: How do I activate windows 10?

Hi guysI recently swapped over my computer to newer hardware and I got a message in the corner of my screen telling me about how I need to activate windows.I looked online and saw some fixes for it, however when I try and run them my troubleshooter doesn't work on it, and when I click to try new hardware the Microsoft servers don't come up.I would love to get help with this issue if at all possible!

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
