Windows 10: How can I replace my documents folder from my hard drive with my one drive documents folder?

I updated my sims 4 game and somehow accidentally switched where my documents folder was. Now it is showing a one drive documents folder with none of my information and saves in it. basically, it reverted my process of mk-linking my documents folder to my hard drive.

Documents Folder is in OneDrive instead of on Hard Drive

I have an issue that I think is being caused by the simple fact that my documents folder is in OneDrive instead of on my computer's hard drive. I don't want OneDrive and I don't know how this happened because everything (in my opinion) should default to
save on the hard drive and not something that requires internet access. How do I get my documents folder to be ONLY on my computer's hard drive and not on OneDrive?

 

Redirected my Documents folder to root of a hard drive, can't revert

Hello,

In an effort to save the space on my SSD, I started redirecting the "This PC" folders to equivalent spots on my Hard Drive. In the process, I accidentally redirected the Documents folder to the root of the hard drive. I am so far unable to revert this or
change it to the proper spot on that hard drive. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
