    How can I recover a file I cut to paste into another folder and then forgot and copied...


    I cut and excel file and was doing that to move it to another file, I got interrupted and and was required to do some other work and copied some text from google sheets only to go back to what I was doing and realize I had already cut the file. I have tried looking at the clipboard history one it shows nothing and also was not setup to show a history. I am on the latest version on Windows on the newer window surface pro with copilot. Please tell me there is a way to find so I do not lose all my work...Thanks in advance for any help!

    Android Folders Cut and Paste - Folders are all empty...

    I was trying to move files from my samsung phone to my windows 10 pc (and because I was trying to rush) I cut some folders and pasted them to an attached USB drive. The folders all pasted with absolutely zero contents. (I previously cut and pasted another folder so I just figured there wouldn't be any issues) The folders are no longer the last thing that was cut/copied and there is no trace of the files being on the phone. Is there a way to recover the files or are they just gone?

    I find this very odd and I have never run into such an issue using file explorer and copying/cutting/pasting folders and the contents...

    Can not cut or copy and paste multiple files

    In windows 10 I can not cut or copy and paste multiple files from one location to another like I use to be able to in Windows 8. It seems to copy/cut one of the files but then stalls and never moves the other files that are selected. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Cannot Paste a File after Cut or Copy a File because Paste is not available

    None of the suggestions have changed the situation. I still cannot cut or copy a FILE and then paste it. Paste is greyed out and cannot be selected. Is there a way that I can be sure the CUT or COPY is moving the data to the clipboard?

    Like I said in my original problem description, I can cut or copy and paste DATA from within applications, but not FILES from within File Explorer.

    Thanks for any help you may give me.
