Windows 10: How can I merge my Disk C 500GB ssd from its two 250GB partitions one for windows and the...

I want to merge two partitions of my disk C, it is 500GB and is divided in halve, one for windows installation and the other one for backup. I don’t want the backup and would use more space in C. Is there a way to did that without resin taking windows with a flash drive or erasing everything on C?

Merge Unallocated partition with New Volume on same disk windows 10 pro

I am unable to merge the unallocated partition with New Volume on same disk on windows10 pro.

when i right click on the new volume, the extend partition is gray out.

i tried everything but still have no option to merge both partition on the same disk.

disk (C): Samsung SSD 500GB (windows 10 pro)

New Volume: seagate 4TB ( need to merge both partition)

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

You have 3 physical drives on your PC a 250GB, a 500GB drive and a 1TB drive, they are all separate.

Your C drive is on the small SSD, that is a physically separate drive to the other two drives in you PC and you cannot extend a partition into a space on another drive, it will not be possible to extend your C drive, you can only extend into a partition on the same physical drive.

Another problem you have is at doe point Windows was on the middle drive an then moved to that bottom C drive and the boot partition and the recovery partition is still on the middle drive.
