Windows 10: How can I fix my laptop that starts but does not go past the Lenovo logo?

Hi, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad t540s laptop.The laptop comes on but does not go past the logo screen. There is a blue screen that shows an error. Sometimes it starts and goes into diagnostic mode and then restarts but never goes past the logo screen. What Can I do to fix this issue?Thank you,

Lenovo Laptop Won't Turn On

Do you still just see a black screen when you start your laptop after performing those steps, do you still not even see the Lenovo logo screen on startup?

 

No Toshiba logo when I turn laptop on

I tried what you suggested and the windows logo never came up. on this laptop when it starts up it shows Toshiba , funny thing my CD lights up I also have a fan that sits on laptop its on and I plug in a USB flash and it never got me anywhere. any other suggestion would be appreciated thanks
