Windows 10: How can I fix my boot order if I can’t launch Bios nor access my desktop?

For the past few weeks, it seems anytime I would shut down my PC and launch it the next day. It would launch into “Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key”. What I normally would do is Ctrl-Alt-Delete and launch my Bios and fix the boot order. But now, I can’t even launch my Bios from start up. It goes straight to the “Reboot” error. But yet, I can launch my “system information” and my “Q-Flash” through the start up menu. I can’t launch my “Boot Menu” and “Bios”. I’ve checked my cables and all are fitted in correctly. I have a Gigabyte

Sometimes, a manufacturer will just not make the BIOS accessible.
But there still has to be a way to change the boot order.

It may be that on your desktop, you can ONLY access the Boot Menu, as in post #2.

This may help some. This is what the Boot tab in MY BIOS looks like.
The "Boot Priority" items are the "order" in which things will boot... by default.

Off the bottom of this screen, there is also a list of bootable items (sort of like the Boot Menu, in the pic above.
I can just click on whichever one I want to boot from.






Depending on the motherboard manufacturer, things might be labeled differently on your computer.
Generally, I set the "Boot Priority" in the BIOS to start with Windows, then I ignore the rest of the items.

If I want to "pick" which device to boot from, one time... I use the Boot Menu. Which I think is a lot easier.
For folks with different laptops or computers or motherboards, here is the full list of the key(s) to press to get into the BIOS or to bring up the Boot Menu, outside of the BIOS.


For regular DIY motherboards, make sure you scroll down to the "motherboards" section.

 

Windows stuck in automatic repair; Can't access BIOS/ boot menu

I've changed the boot order through both BIOS and the boot manager, as my original post stated. Neither did anything, but both were functional in the past. Neither listed the windows boot manager, either. Previously, it would boot just as expected whenever
other media was set as the first option, so I'm pretty sure there are no issues there.

As my original post suggested, I've already tried out the steps you gave. I've gone through all the options listed in the boot menu, UEFI or not.

My BIOS and boot menu settings were at their defaults when all of this started, so that's been tried already, if those are what you're referring to.
