    Hi there,I've followed a couple of tutorials for adding additional sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF and haven't managed to add A0, A1 or A2.Below are links to the usual answers to this question, but as others have commented they don't work:https://franklinheath.co.uk/2015/08/29/custom-page-sizes-for-microsoft-print-to-pdf/https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware-winpc/microsoft-print-to-pdf-custom-paper-sizes-possible/90ed3d48-1ece-4ca5-8d3b-ff0af24a7b37?page=3

  2. Cannot manually add paper sizes A0 and A1 to "Microsoft Print to PDF"

    Hello Julian vE

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    Regarding to your information I assume that you want to print a1 and a0 sizes with Microsoft Print to PDF.

    According to our test, the A0 and A1 can't be added to the setting and if I use the a1 size setting and named a6 it can be added to the print setting

    but it's seems become the smallest size. I suggest the size of a1 and a0 is out of the Microsoft Print to PDF driver support so you can't add it.

    According to the thread from Mircosoft tech they came to a similar conclusion and they give a way to print this size of PDF.

    So if you want to print the a0 and a1 sizes you can refer to this link to solve your problem.

    If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Cannot manually add paper sizes A0 and A1 to "Microsoft Print to PDF"

    First off, I'd like to thank Neil C. Obremski for the following thread:

    Redirecting

    In here, he explains in detail on how to add the A6 paper size to "Microsoft Print to PDF". I followed these steps and successfully added the paper sizes A6 and A2 to my options.

    However, when trying to add A0, A1, etcetera to my options using the same steps, it did not work.

    In directory "Windows\System32\spool\V4Dirs\6A51.....\" I opened the "69b8a4a.gpd" file in Notepad (as an administrator), and added the following lines in the right position:

    *Option: A0

    {

    *rcNameID: =RCID_DMPAPER_SYSTEM_NAME

    *PrintSchemaKeywordMap: "ISOA0"

    *PrintableOrigin: PAIR(0, 0)

    *PrintableArea: PAIR(15138000, 21402000)

    }

    *Option: A1

    {

    *rcNameID: =RCID_DMPAPER_SYSTEM_NAME

    *PrintSchemaKeywordMap: "ISOA1"

    *PrintableOrigin: PAIR(0, 0)

    *PrintableArea: PAIR(10692000, 15138000)

    }

    In the same directory, I opened the "pdc.xml" file on Notepad as well, also as an administrator and with UTF-8 encoding. There I added the following:

    <psk:ISOA1 psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="Option">

    <psk12How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :portraitImageableSize psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="Property" xsi:type="psf2:ImageableAreaType">0,0,594000,841000</psk12How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :portraitImageableSize>

    <psk:MediaSizeWidth psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="ScoredProperty" xsi:type="xsd:integer">594000</psk:MediaSizeWidth>

    </psk:ISOA1>

    <psk:ISOA0 psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="Option">

    <psk12How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :portraitImageableSize psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="Property" xsi:type="psf2:ImageableAreaType">0,0,841000,1189000</psk12How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :portraitImageableSize>

    <psk:MediaSizeHeight psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="ScoredProperty" xsi:type="xsd:integer">1189000</psk:MediaSizeHeight>

    <psk:MediaSizeWidth psf2How can I add A0, A1 and A2 sizes to Microsoft Print to PDF? :psftype="ScoredProperty" xsi:type="xsd:integer">841000</psk:MediaSizeWidth>

    </psk:ISOA0>

    As stated before, I did add A2 and A6 paper sizes, using the same code, but with different names and sizes. "ISOA2" and "ISOA6" seem to work for these sizes, so that's why I thought the names "ISOA1" and "ISOA0" should work too. Maybe this is where I am wrong somehow?

    If this is to be solved for A0 and A1 sizes, is there also a solution for other sizes like A1+ or even A0++??

    As far as an "error" code goes, it did show me one, once, but that was (probably) because of a typo. Having corrected myself, it did not give an error, but the options A0 and A1 did not show in my dropdown menu of Microsoft Print to PDF.

    Thanks in advance!!

    - Julian
