Good afternoon:I need to activate the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 in the developer.I'm currently using Office 2019 32 bits, I have Windows 10.I've already searched for the file: mscomct2.ocx in disk C and it gives me this info:What can I do to safely solve my problem?Thanks.Kind Regards.

I want to add date picker to an Excel document so that when I click the cell a calendar appears allowing me to select a date but when I go to Developer I don't have the Microsoft date and time picker as an option. I have Windows11 64-bit. Can anyone help please?

You can install the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP6) control in Windows 10.



1. The first thing I need to explain to you is that you can register the calendar control in a 64-bit system, but it only works with 32-bit office. Even if you add the reference to mscomct2.ocx/mscal. When ocx is in Excel 64-bit, it still returns the "Cannot load object because it is not available on this machine" error.



2. If you are using 64-bit Office, to install this plug-in, you need to uninstall the 64-bit version of Office and reinstall the 32-bit version of Office, and then perform the following steps. You can click here to refer to choosing a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Office.



3. Because Excel2010 and Excel2013 are pre-installed on Windows, but Excel 2016 and later versions require you to manually download and install them on your computer.



4. Below are the steps I give you to install Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP6):

Click the Windows Start button, type mscomct2.ocx or mscal.ocx in the search box, and hit Enter.

1) If the file of mscomct2.ocx can be found

• Right-click the Start button, Windows Terminal (Admin) -> then enter the following command:

• Then click Enter, the file mscomct2.ocx will be successfully registered on your computer.

• Once mscomct2.ocx is registered, restart Excel, go to the "Developer" tab, click "Insert" -> "More Controls", the Microsoft Date and Time Picker control will appear.
