Windows 10: Hotmail account blocked & 2 step vertifcation app doesn’t have email address listed to reset

My Hotmail account have been blocked as someone has tried to access my account. When I’m trying to reset my password the verification process tries to send a code to the app but my Hotmail account isn’t listed on the app. I can’t add it now. The other methods to reset the password isn’t helping. The code to alternative email is fine but then the set verification to mobile say it can’t be sent at this time! I’ve tried the account recovery but the response says I have 2 step set up which I did but it’s been deleted when work set up my work email address. I’m going in circles. Is there any way

Blocking Email Addresses

How do I block email addresses from my hotmail account? This applies to received AND non-received emails from these sources. I have a list of about 10 sender email addresses that I would like to delete immediately. I prefer to do NOT change my email
address.

 

2 Hotmail accounts see in the email Accounts list

There are 2 hotmail accounts seen in the list of accounts on my Lumia 720.

Out of the 2 accounts, one was created by me with a valid email id.

But the other default Hotmail account doesn't have any email id associated.

It was created initially by the phone by default. I am neither able to link it to my 2nd hotmail account nor able to delete it as some contacts are associated to it.

My phone is still unlocked.

Hence I wanted to know if there is a way we can change the account settings in the registry

or is there any other solution without a hard reset of the phone.

The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).
