Windows 10: High GPU Idle Temperature and SSD Write Test Warning on Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3

even after clean install using windows 11 bootable drive created from official windows website, my GPU was idling at 65-70C and was running at max core and memory clock all the time. Today i just found that my intel GPU has faced a starting error few days ago i.e. after clean installing the windows.. i updated it to latest version by installing driver from intel website. doing so reduced my gpu's core and memory clock speed to normal of 300 and 400 mhz respectively and temperature to idle at 55C. But that is still too high for idling especially at 20C room temperature. so i ran hardware scan i

I have a Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with Samsung pm991 512 GB SSD drive and I use windows 11. But recently, my lenovo can't detect my samsung ssd again even i restart over and over again.

Any solutions? Thank you.

 

Windows 10 & 11 idle high ssd usage and high cpu usage

My laptop is msi gl65 9scxr (now 6 months old)

• i5 9300h
  
• gtx 1650
  
• 16GB ddr4
  
• 512GB Kingston OM8PCP3512F-Al1 m.2 nvme ssd( shipped with laptop) (contains C drive and D drive)
  
• 512GB addlink SATA ssd
  

I have problem with the high reads and writes in Kingston(windows installed on it) . When not doing anything for like 5-4 minutes laptops all the fans kick up and CPU get 100% and SSD constantly write and read at high usages. it usually writes 20-30 GB every day when idling . If i click mouse or interreact with laptop it goes to normal. if i get the idle process running and it automatically get cool down after some time but it writes and reads GBs of SSD. If i interact with the laptop while that idle usage happening then it starts after when i next time keep the pc idling. It happens everyday when i turn on laptop .I it a pain that SSD also kills it life time ware.

When i get the laptop there was no windows installed to it. So i installed windows 10 to it. After 3 months i try to monitor SSD written TB via crystal disk info. for 3 months its usage was 3.1TB and 98% health. so i concerned it and every day i monitored its activity. so nothing happen it usually high SSD usages. I tried clean Windows 11, upgrade 10 to 11, nothing happens. problem exists.

I tried all methods to save SSD like,

• disable SuperFetch
  
• disable search index
  
• disable automatically windows updates
  
• disable other apps automatically updates
  

etc...

How to slove this problem? This is a pain to me...........

 

High CPU And GPU temperature

Hii there,

I have a HP 15 BS658TX laptop, I bought it a year ago.

Now my problem is I am having very high CPU and GPU temp while playing games. As summer season is going on here in India so normal GPU and CPU temp is about 50℃ and as i start a game it rises whole the way up to

80+℃ which is horrible ofcourse. Now I was able to play these games at normal temps before 2 months. I am getting the expected fps from games likes gta 5, battlefield 1, resident evil 7 around 40. And around 50-60 fps on older games. But the temperatures
are rising to high and too quickly like in 5- 10 min only. What should I do and what exactly the problem is. I have also tried gaming in my friend's laptop ( only the gpu is of different series but same memory) and it was having around 75℃ at max and increased
at a slower rate than mine. Pls tell the solution.

I have windows 10 pro

All updated drivers

And nothing overclocked

My specs :

Intel core i3 6th gen 2GHz

AMD Radeon 520 2Gb

8Gb DDR4

1Tb HDD

Does these high temperatures cause fps drops. I have heard of something called throttling. Pls explain
