Windows 10: Hidden WIFI SSID connections keep disappearing

Discus and support Hidden WIFI SSID connections keep disappearing in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; We have a lot of Windows 10 computers that connect to our Wifi using a hidden SSID.     Hidden WIFI SSID connections keep disappearing


    We have a lot of Windows 10 computers that connect to our Wifi using a hidden SSID. We configure the SSID on the computers and they work perfectly fine for a while, but after some time, the Hidden SSID just disappears and the Wifi connects to our guest network instead. We have power management set up to not disabled the networks and also to not go to sleep at all. Any assistance in figuring this out would be appreciated.

    Windows Phone 7 connecting to WiFi with Hidden SSID

    Our work has WiFi networks with hidden SSIDs throughout the organisation. While Microsoft thinks this is not secure (as stated in KB2447719) our security people seem to think it is. Are there any plans in the future to allow connection to hidden networks?
    I am a big fan of the OS, but i am fast becoming annoyed with the lack of features that i keep finding, flash player, no connection to hidden SSIDs the list seems to get longer...Perhaps it is time to go to Android...

    Nokia 920 and 820 will not connect to hidden SSID WiFi

    I think the HTX WiFi app is only designed to keep WiFi connected when the screen is off.



    Anyway, I sorry I can't help resolve your issue, although I can't help but think it is an issue specific to you or your setup because I can only find one other person complaining about this, but it was with a Nokia 710 and WP 7.5 (see

    Nokia 920 and 820 will not connect to hidden SSID WiFi

    Hi, I'm using the 920 (post amber update) & managed to log into my home hidden wifi.



    Here's how:

    1) Under Wifi, click Advanced

    2) Scroll below to see a list of SSID which you have logged in before

    3) Delete the hidden SSID that you want to log into by pressing the "select" key next to the "+" sign

    4) Then press the "+" sign & key in the hidden SSID again

    5) You will then be prompted to key in the password

    6) When that's done, the phone will log into the hidden SSID.

    7) You will now notice that the word "hidden" displayed below the SSID
