Windows 10: Hi, my windows explorer stops responding within the first instruction its given

Hi, I already followed some other solution is this forum, but everytime something went wrong, i have already tried:restarting it from the task manager it simply doesn't open again, and when i do it manually it is still bugged;update de win11 to the newest version;Using the Win Key+R to find and delete the content from the folders: "shell:recent\AutomaticDestinations" and "shell:recent\CustomDestinations" when i search them up, neither appear, i just click enter in the execute menu, and it disappears but doens't open anything;In addition to this, i believe i found the problem, my search ind

As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
• Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.

Using File explorer can stop given preview

• Click on View.
• Click on Preview pane.

• Click on View.
• Click on Folder options.

Windows Explorer Stops Responding on Certain Folder


Hello. Recently, I had two instances when Windows Explorer stopped responding when I tried to access a folder. The first time, it seemed to focus on two video files and when I deleted the files, the folder was fine. The next time, I could not access the folder. I could access my back up on the NAS drive, but Windows Explorer would stop responding when I tried to access the folder on my secondary hard drive on the computer. I deleted the folder and copied the folder from the NAS drive to the secondary drive, but it yielded the same problem. I renamed the folder and I am now able to access the folder.

Do these two instances suggest a problem with my hard drive or with my current state of Windows 10?
