Windows 10: Help Needed with Microsoft Voice Access Issues on Surface 11

Hi Microsoft Support Team and Community,I’m running into a frustrating issue with my Windows Surface 11, and I suspect it might be related to the ARM architecture chip. Microsoft Voice Access consistently crashes after about 10 minutes of use. This happens so frequently that I end up resetting the toolbar around 50 times a day. It’s gotten to the point where it’s almost unusable, which is incredibly challenging since this software is critical for me.I haven’t had these problems before. On my previous Lenovo laptop running Windows 11, everything worked smoothly. I’ve also noticed that other app

Verify the Speech Language Settings

Windows 11 voice typing feature relies on the speech language settings to determine which language it should recognize.

Voice Access for offline use

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

You can use Voice Access on Windows 11 offline. According to Microsoft Support, Voice Access is a new feature in Windows 11 that enables everyone, including people with mobility disabilities, to control their PC and author text using only their voice and without an internet connection.

Here’s how you can set it up:

1. Launch Voice Access from Settings: In the Start menu, select Settings > Accessibility > Speech. Turn on the Voice access switch.
   
2. Start Voice Access from Windows search: Open Windows search and type voice access. Select Open to start voice access.
   

When you turn on Voice Access for the first time, you are prompted to download voice access language files to be used by on-device speech recognition. Once the language files have been downloaded, voice access works regardless of your internet connection status.

Note: You may still need the Internet to download the corresponding language files when setting up for the first time. After the download is complete, you can use it offline.
