Windows 10: Help Needed – Unable to Access My Outlook Account Due to Phone Number Restrictions

Dear Microsoft Support Team,I am reaching out because I am unable to access my Outlook account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, which I used to sign up for my Instagram account. To reset my Instagram password, I need to receive a verification email at my Outlook account. However, my Outlook account is now locked, and I am unable to receive the verification code because Microsoft does not send security codes to Iranian phone numbers due to restrictions.I had no choice but to create a new account just to contact you. This is my professional account, and I urgently need access to it.Could you please help

SO today my friend asked me if i could post this question on the forum:



He wants to configure a outlook account with 1 email, with that outlook account he wants to run the same account in 2 diferent computers he wants the both computer to be connected in network, for example:

• he receives a email and that email is sent to each computer;
• he deletes a email from one computer and it also deletes on the other;
• he moves a email to a folder it also moves on the other computer;

If you guys can help me would be nice!

We call this part social engineering. Now im going to email your yahoo account and solicit you to make a youtube account. in which I will give you targeted ads on discounted coffee at Tim hortons. Because you dont have a cell phone.

 

Outlook asking cellphone number

It is part of their security system. So if your account is compromised they can send a text to your cellphone with a code to verify your identity. It is part of their 2 step verification, supposedly you can enter an alternate email address instead of a cellphone number. You have to click like you are going to enter a cell phone, and on the page to enter your number there is an option to enter an alternate email instead.

If that doesn't work try this:

Click your name or picture in the top Outlook.com navigation bar.
Select Account settings from the menu that has appeared.
If you are prompted for a password:
Type your Outlook.com password over Password.
Click Sign in.
Open the Security info category under Overview.
Click Help us protect your account.
Choose whether you want to add a phone number or alternate email address under Help us protect your account.
Enter the email address or phone number (making sure the country code is set correctly and does not appear in the phone number itself).
Click Next.
Look for and open an email from "Microsoft account team " with the subject "Microsoft account security code" at the email address you selected or a call or text message from Microsoft.
If you received the code by email:
Highlight and copy the verification code in the message.
Paste the code over Code back at Help us protect your account.
