Heads up! We noticed that you recently deleted a large number of files from your OneDrive

Hey! I got the email saying: Files are permanently removed from the online recycle bin 93 days after they're deleted Hi Jackson, Anthony JACKSANT000, We noticed that you recently deleted a large number of files from your OneDrive. When files are deleted, they're stored in your recycle bin and can be restored within 93 days. After 93 days, deleted files are gone forever. If you want to restore these files, go to the recycle bin. Select what you want to restore, and click the Restore button. Ignore this mail if you meant to get rid of these files. Learn

  2. OneDrive won't synchronize a folder with a large number of files

OneDrive won't synchronize or upload a folder that contains a large number of files. This problem is persistent, and other people have reported it. What happens is that OneDrive spends a couple of days working (with lots of disk activity but no usage
of the Internet at all), and then reports that all files and folders are up to date. They are not: the folders are present on OneDrive but the folders are all empty.

Others have reported the same problem. Someone has offered answers that go off onto irrelevancies. Just to be clear:

    • The issue is not the size of files, the issue is the number of files.
    • The issue is not internet connection speed; the issue is the number of files.
    • The issue is not speed of upload; OneDrive doesn't upload the files at all.

Recent (Save Files) - Change Default Settings to OneDrive

    Hello -
Thanks for the return. Before I undertake changing the Registry, I have a question.
The steps in my Registry, for my version of Windows 10, were a bit different, but I think I eventually got to the right spot.
The last step is to change the number of places you want to list in Recent Places. In my case, the default Max Display listed 50 as the number. So, if I were to change that number, how do I know the Save As page will be one of those places? Or, a similar question, will this registry change delete the tab Recent from my Save As page? This is what I would like to happen.
When I received my computer in Nov. 2016, the Recent tab was not listed in the Save As page. Something caused it to be added over time. Which brings me to this second question. Would there be any benefit in deleting the changed registry listing and reverting back to the default listing? See attachment.

Only write one number to log file and delete old ones?

    Hey,

I'm trying to have some software read from a .text file a number (GPU Temp) but the software will only the first number in a list (Or the first anything)

Is there a way to have to log file delete the previous entries and write the new number in it's place without any headers?

    EDIT:

    Sorry I'll try again.

I have some webcam software that can read a number (or whatever) from a text file and then it displays the number as an overlay.

    See here: http://10.244.193.13:8081/

I was trying to use GPU-z to do this but as it logs as a list the webcam software can't update properly (also it reads the headings of the file and displays them instead)

Is there anyway to alter the logging to only output just the number (GPU Temp) and to delete the old numbers so the new value is the only value in the file.
