Windows 10: Have Window 10 & using McAfee

Have Window 10, been using McAfee anti virus, it is expiring and I would like to use Win 10 anti virus and defender. Do I have to uninstall McAfee and do I need do anything to using Microsoft anti virus and defender. Thanks.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

win 10 will not allow me to open McAfee

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I would suggest you to un-install/re-install McAfee and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Programs and features, right click on the
  McAfee and select uninstall it.
  
• 
  Now install it again.
