My GPU randomly started to not be read by PC at startup - not showing up on Task Manager and some apps which needs GPU crashing as a result of it. I tried do some DIY troubleshooting per instructions and found that Device Manager would show 3 types of error codes - 12, 31, and 43. I cannot confirm if this is a GPU issue since I haven't tried other cards as well nor have I tried using the GPU on a different Mobo. I have tried uninstalling my drivers manually by deleting drivers via device manager and reinstalling the GPU driver from Nvidia's direct website but same issue. There was this one tim

Repeated GPU Crashes on ASUS TUF FX505DT (GTX 1650 Mobile 4GB)

    Hello,

I am experiencing persistent GPU crashes with my ASUS TUF FX505DT laptop, equipped with a Ryzen 5 3550H processor and an NVIDIA GTX 1650 (Mobile) 4GB GPU. I encountered this issue ten months ago while playing Valorant. At the time, I assumed it was specific to Valorant, uninstalled the game, and refrained from gaming on my laptop for the following ten months. During this period, I primarily utilized the CPU for applications and didn't encounter any issues related to the performance of my laptop. Recently, I installed Chivalry 2 and started using the GTX 1650 (Mobile) for gameplay, as it performs significantly better than the integrated GPU. Unfortunately, after 5-10 minutes of gameplay, the GPU crashes.

    Here are the error reports:

    **Unsupported Graphics Card Error:**

"There is a problem with your graphics card. Please ensure your card meets the minimum system requirements and that you have the latest drivers installed."

    **Unreal Engine 4 Crash Reporter:**

    "Chivalry 2 has crashed.

My GTX 1650 (Mobile) 4GB GPU should be more than adequate to run this game at very low settings. All my drivers are up to date and managed through NVIDIA GeForce Experience.

I contacted NVIDIA's support, and they advised the following steps:

    1. Download and run the NVIDIA Cleanup Tool: [CleanupTool.exe](https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool)

    2. Perform a clean installation of the latest NVIDIA Driver: [Driver version 555.99 WHQL](GeForce Game Ready Driver | 555.99 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIA) - Select the "Custom (Advanced)" install option and check "Perform clean install."

I followed all these steps accurately, but the problem persists.

    **Summary of the Issue:**

    - The game starts and runs smoothly with normal temperatures and performance for 5-10 minutes, additionally, there is no rapid increase in the temperature even during the crash.

    - Suddenly, there is an FPS drop to 0, white noise, screen freeze, and after approximately 2 minutes, a GPU crash followed by a blue screen.

    - This issue also occurs during the Superposition Benchmark test, despite constant temperatures.

    - The laptop has not suffered any physical damage and has been in use for four years, with infrequent gaming.

    - Performance is perfect during the initial 5-10 minutes before the crash.

Despite trying various solutions, I cannot determine the root cause of the problem. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance for your help.
