Windows 10: Grey tint and blue startup

    Grey tint and blue startup


    My screen is messed up, it gives me a blue screen at the start, but then switches back to a grey tint over everything after. This started to happen yesterday after i wiped down my keyboard after it was greasy. All the sudden it just went blue. I then restarted my computer a few times, but it kept the blue screen until i unlocked my computer or I wait like 15 seconds. The startup doesn't really bother me as much as grey tint does. Can anyone help?

    Blue tint on monitor

    My ASUS monitor (model MX279-H) shows a blue tint. I recently bought an HP27f monitor and realized that ASUS display has a blue tint (image attached).

    I am using an HDMI cable to connect (no loose VGA cables!) I uploaded/updated display drivers from ASUS website.

    Startup Blue Screen

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    We would like to know some information:

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?

    I turned on my laptop and found a blue tint screen. Everything on the screen has that blue tint. Please help to get normal colors on my screen
