Windows 10: graphics tools "couldn't add" to my computer

I was trying to add Direct X graphics tools so I can run this new game I've installed but when I try to download this optional feature it says "couldn't add" without any explanation on why I can't. Yes I have also tried to download the tool on a administrator account.

Trying to reinstall Win10

Do not download or use Restoro PC Repair Tool, just try the steps listed below that.

 

"We couldn`t create a new partition or locate an existing one."

Try this:

Before you get to that message, press SHIFT + F10 to open a command prompt.

Run diskpart.
At the diskpart prompt, run these commands:

list disk

At this point you should see the SSD as disk 0. If it has another disk number, use that number rather than "0" in the next command.

select disk 0
clean
exit (to exit from diskpart)
exit (to exit from the command prompt)





That should clear the contents of the disk. The entire disk space should then show up in Windows setup as "Unallocated Space" as in the screenshot below.

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.
