Windows 10: GPU Error 43 FIX?

Can someone help me i took this gpu from an older pc i had laying around since my main pc is using integrated graphicsthe gpu is giving me error 43i've tried:Installing GPU DriversUninstalling GPU DriversCleaning the GPUmounting the GPU on the second pcie x16 slotnote: initially the pc would'nt boot so i switched back to integrated for the time beingSpecs:CPU: Ryzen 3 3200gMobo: ASrock b450 Steel LegendsGPU: Gigabyte GTX 560 TI

Error 43 with my GPU

Error 43 with a GPU usually indicates that there is a problem with the device driver.

For this problem, Microsoft has provided a relevant solution, please refer to Fix graphics device problems with error code 43 - Microsoft Support.

From the series of information you provided, it seems that you are using both GPUs at the same time, and you can try uninstalling the old graphics card driver to see if this problem persists.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
   
2. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and then select Uninstall.
   

If that still doesn't resolve the issue, go to Device Manager to disable discrete graphics or disable integrated graphics to see if the problem goes away.





You can also update your BIOS: Check if there is a BIOS update available for your computer and install it if there is. This can sometimes resolve issues with hardware components.

If these steps do not solve the problem, it is recommended that you test the hardware for problems.

Error 43 with my GPU

Thank you for your reply.

Usually there are three reasons for the GPU to report an error:

• 1. System failure
  
• 2. Motherboard failure
  
• 3. GPU failure
  

Due to the fact that you have tested your GPU on another computer it works fine, so you can rule out a GPU problem.

I recommend that you do a fresh install of your Windows to see if the GPU is working properly, and if the problem still occurs, I recommend that you test your motherboard to make sure there is no hardware failure.

***(For security reasons, make sure you have 60 GB of free space on your computer)

Note: Be sure to back up your personal files to the C drive before installing the system (eg C:\Users\username)***
