Windows 10: Google Drive system tray icon not permanently showing and always switching to show in the...

I use the Windows desktop client for Google Drive current version: 66.0.2.0.I want the icon to be permanently shown in the system tray as seen in this image. But it always switches to where the red arrow in the image is pointing overflow menu.The way to show icons in the main system tray is via the setting in: Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Other system tray icons.No matter how many times I enable the icon to show in the main system tray it will automatically toggle itself off after a few restarts. I suspect it happens when either Windows or the Google Drive client runs an

• [NEW] After upgrading to Build 22610, the “Show hidden icons” flyout in the system tray may disappear completely for some Insiders, even though it shows as “on” under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and “Other system tray icons”. We are investigating the issue. As a workaround if you need access to the icons that would show in the “Show hidden icons” flyout, you can go right-click on taskbar to open the Taskbar settings page, navigate to the “Other system tray icons” and individuals toggle specific apps to “On” until the issue is resolved.

one drive doesn't show notification system tray

System tray doesn't show my one drive, it even doesn't show on notification list. Also the folders showing on the one drive is coming from different computer. I need fix on this issue, please help.

all the services to which it depends this one are actually set to -automatic- and are all working...

i've just unistalled and do the exact procedure suggested by marsmimar..but did really not solve
