Windows 10: Google Chrome keeps crashing on my Asus zenbook 13

I've been facing this problem since late last year 2022. Google has been crashing more frequently, and its logo is a blank piece of paper. Some days it would work fine and I would see the logo and then a few days later the logo would return to the blank piece of paper and the page would crash. I have tried searching online for remedies but I'm worried about following some of them as there have been people in the comments claiming that some of the methods suggested have lost all of their data, files, work etc. For now I have been using this method to temporarily resolve the situation: 1 open

problem uninstalling google chrome

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Asus Zenbook stuck on Asus logo

Hi,

I have a ASUS Zenbook laptop which recently received a windows update.

Ever since the update - the laptop would not start up and it would just go in a loop

"Attempting to recover installation.." "Undoing changes made to your computer...". and then restart (this cycle would just keep repeating)

I took it to IT and they tried to get into Recovery mode by keeping the power button pressed firmly during this loop and also pressing the "ESC F1 F2 F3". After doing this multiple times

Now the machine just shows the ASUS logo and doesn't even try to boot up.

I need to get my laptop up and running - is that even possible at this point? Can you please suggest steps to troubleshoot / recover from this situation?
