Windows 10: Getting Rid of the need for a password when opening Windows 11

Thinking that this would be straightforward I found guidance and in settings/accounts/sign in options a section which allowed me to remove the need for a PIN. This made no difference. There is a section for password and that says 'all set up'. I just looked at that and ended up being offered the option of changing my microsoft password. Don't want that.I have set Never for the need to sign in after being away.There may be another action I tried but this was a couple of days ago and I can't remember sorry!.Now the situation is that when I start up W11 I get an immediate message which say

I have tried all the above but still I am prompted to enter password when I switch on my computer. Please advise how to get rid of login password when switching on the computer.

 

Getting rid of ALL requests for passwords and PIN when opening Windows

Simple question: How can I get rid of EVERY attempt at requesting ANY password or PIN or anything similar when entering Windows 10? Also: how can I change the name that appears on the welcome screen? I've tried some suggestions, like "forgetting" my password, removing my PIN... but Windows keeps asking me for a pw to get in. Thanks, PK

My problem is the same as Ms. Busby's. I don't need to sign in when I turn on my desktop, but when left unattended even for less than an hour, the screen reverts to my screen saver and asks for a password. I've done both the steps you recommended, but
it doesn't work. I even specified 5 hours before my computer goes to sleep, but it still asks for a password.

Is there another fix for this? I am getting tired of entering my password several times a day.
