    Getting rid of log in password


    In the Windows 10 user accounts I’m the only one listed as I’m the only user. I get asked for my Microsoft Account password every time I log in which I don’t want. When I press the Windows key and R to open the run box and enter netplwiz it opens the user accounts box and I’m the only one there but it does not have the box saying, ‘Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.’ How do I get rid of having to enter a password when I can’t untick that box?

    I have tried all the above but still I am prompted to enter password when I switch on my computer. Please advise how to get rid of login password when switching on the computer.

    Mr. Patel,

    My problem is the same as Ms. Busby's. I don't need to sign in when I turn on my desktop, but when left unattended even for less than an hour, the screen reverts to my screen saver and asks for a password. I've done both the steps you recommended, but
    it doesn't work. I even specified 5 hours before my computer goes to sleep, but it still asks for a password.

    Is there another fix for this? I am getting tired of entering my password several times a day.
