Windows 10: Getting Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 speakers to work under Windows 10

Please be gentle, this is my first post.After spending many hours on line trying to figure out how to get Bowers and Wilkins MM-1 speakers to work under Windows 10, I was able to successfully install them. I used the following procedure. Some of the terminology may be incorrect, as I am recalling the steps I took from memory, but hopefully it will provide enough of a roadmap.I was only able to find the firmware update pack from this link:https://drivers.plus/es/bw-mm-1-speakers-firmware-2-11/36494/Unzip bw-mm-1-speakers-firmware-2-11Right click on setup and "check compatibility"Test Program

Bowers and Wilkins PX Headphones connecting to Windows 10

No, you didn't miss a step. the Bowers and Wilkins PX headphones work great in Apple and Android systems, but they fail miserably in Windows 10. I have been trying for a few days to get them to connect to Win10, fail.

One would think that a company that charges PREMIUM for their product would not have these issues. I'm throwing mine in the trash and going back to Bose. At least they connect and are usable. Then I'm going to the internet to let everyone know how miserably
difficult they are to connect.

 

Bowers & Wilkins 685s or Klipsch RB-51

I am willing to spend $1000 including the speakers and receiver. I want to have a 5.1 system, it is just that if I were to get the Klipsch or the Bowers & Wilkins, then I would exceed my $1000 range. I wouldn't mind spending over $1000 as long as this setup will sound good coming out of my computer. Open to suggestion on other super good speakers (high mids, treble, bass).
