Windows 10: Getting 0x8007001F-0x3000D error during MIGRATE_DATA Windows 11 Installation

I have tried installing Windows 11 for almost 10 times now but it somehow reverts back to Windows 10. I tried searching for this error and it shows an error related to user profiles.On one of the occasions, there was a suggestion to change the path to %SystemDrive%\Users and then try again.I can fairly say that I do understand most parts but I don't really understand whose path has to be changed to "%SystemDrive%\Users".If someone could explain that in layman's terms, that would be really great System Model: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobi

Yes, I moved the profiles folder from C:\Users to to D:\Users to preserve the life of my SSD drive. However, I did the same in my laptop and I succeeded in migrating it to W10.

What about the "A device attached to the system is not functioning" error in the log file? Is there a way to know which device the installer was complaining about?

 

Getting 0x8007001F-0x3000D error during MIGRATE_DATA Windows 10 Installation

Hi, I am wanting to upgrade my Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10. However the installation has crashed out 5 times and reverted to my Win 7

first i got the 0xC1900101-0x30018 error during SYSPREP - I seem to have resolved this by bringing all my drivers (including hidden ones) up to date

Then I am now getting 0x8007001F-0x3000D error during MIGRATE_DATA - this has occured four times.

So far I have

• uninstalled norton 360
• used MS config to shut down all non MS services and clean booted

Note I am preferring to do an in place upgrade as I have no desire to be reloading all my software including my kid's Roblox and Fortnight

Windows 10 Update Fails with error 0x8007001F - 0x3000D

I am trying to update my PC from Windows 10 Pro version 1703 (build 15063.1387) to the latest (1909) and it repeatedly fails with the error “0x8007001F - 0x3000D The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation”.
I have already researched this problem on the web and tried pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find, but without success. Here is my setup:

• Dell Inspiron 3668 tower
  
• 1.8 TB hard drive portioned into:
  
• C: 200 GB, 65 GB free
  
• D: 160 GB, 578 GB free
  
• I have one user account located on C and another located on D
  
• Updating from USB drive created with Media Creation Tool
  
• Choosing the option to keep apps and settings
  

Here are some of the many troubleshooting steps I have tried already:

• Running the update from the account located on C, which has admin privileges.
  
• Perform a Clean Boot in Windows
  
• Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter
  
• Disconnect non-essential devices attached to your computer
  
• Run the Windows System File Checker
