Hi! I'm trying to record my desktop using the xBox game bar. After I launch Game Bar, the option to record is greyed out. I get the error message "Gaming features aren't available for windows desktop or file explorer". I have enabled everything related to XBox Game Bar in Settings.I've tried all the suggested steps at this website:Why gaming features aren't available on the Windows desktop? windowsreport.comand also tried this from MicroSoft:Have you tried to reinstall the app using PowerShell? To do that open a PowerShell Windows in Administrator mode and run the following command: Get-AppX

Some files listed in Windows Explorer are blue font

I seem to have run out of room on a Windows XP Pro system. I tried to defrag but don't have but 7% room available. I looked in Windows Explorer to try to find some huge files that might be corrupt and I see a few that are listed in blue. What does that mean? I have not compressed anything on purpose. Thanks

    About Game Explorer

    Hi,

There is a way on how you can get the Game Explorer folder back on your Windows 10 if it is not available. To help you with this, kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the desktop, press Windows key + R keys simultaneously.
    • On the Run box, kindly type shell:games and press
      Enter.
    • The Games folder should be up on your screen after step 2.
    • On the taskbar, right-click the games folder and click
      Pin this program to taskbar
      .

Following these steps should completely bring back the Game Explorer folder back on your list, just like what you have had on your Windows 7 before.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
