Windows 10: Games and apps do not work correctly and wont close even when using kill command

I have been trying to figure this out for 2 days my pc runs fine there's no viruses i check with defenders every time i try to open a game it works fine for a few seconds then it black screens loses ram usage and CPU usage and when i try to close it it wont close even if i use task manager to close it that wont work and when i use task manager it just says the app is running still and i cant change it this is with every game i have on steam and other sources i have reset my pc completely and redownloaded everything nothing will work i checked to see if my ram was broken it said it was fine i h

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

Follow this steps:

    Press Windows+X.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    
  • 
    Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
    Enter.

Download not working correctly

Hello Kyle,

Applications bought from Windows Store needs cache clearing if the downloading stops working after a period of time. We recommend that you run the
WSReset command to clear the store app cache and reset it into a clean state. To reset the app, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R to open run command.
• Type WSReset.exe, then click
  OK.
• Wait for the command to finish.

After performing the steps above, download the game again and see if it will continue and finish.
