  1. Galaxy Buds 2 Pro does not output audio

My Buds 2 Pro works fine on other devices but it does not output any audio when connected to my laptop It shows as connected and won't pop up on the sound mixer under output devices, tried resetting the buds, forgetting and adding the device and still the problem remains. When I check the Bluetooth settings, it shows up under audio devices, I have tried updating the drivers and restarting the Bluetooth services but it still does not work.It won't pop up under playback devices either, I tried troubleshooting but that did not work out it simply does not show up as a deviceP.S. I took some screen

Windows 11 - galaxy buds showing up but not connecting.

    Hi Eto,

I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting the issue so far. It's unfortunate that the problem still persists despite the steps we've taken.

Ensuring the proper pairing process can sometimes make a difference. Here's a step-by-step guide:

    > Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned off and your Galaxy Buds are inside their charging case.

    > Insert the Galaxy Buds into the charging case in the correct position.

    > Close the case, and the battery indicator on the case should flash, indicating they are ready to pair.

    > If the battery indicator doesn't flash, the buds might need a charge. Charge them for at least ten minutes before attempting to pair.

After that follow these steps to re-pair your Galaxy Buds:

    > Press Windows + I key to open Settings.

    > Click Bluetooth & Device.

    > Turn on Bluetooth.

    > Click "View more devices" and look for Galaxy Buds from Audio.

    > If you find your Galaxy Buds in Audio click three-dots (...) and select "Remove device"

    > Click "Add device".

    > Select "Bluetooth".

    > Now, open your Galaxy Buds case.

    > Wait for the scan and look for Galaxy Buds in the list. Make sure it's in range.

    > Pair Galaxy Buds.

Please don't hesitate to get back to me with the outcome of these steps, or if you have any further questions.

    Best regards,

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro issues on Windows 11

Hi there, I am , a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you're having issues with your Galaxy Buds 2 Pro on Windows 11. What troubleshooting steps have you already taken?

Also, if you have access to another pair of Bluetooth earphones, it could be helpful to test them out on your PC to see if the issue persists.

Please provide me some troubleshooting steps you have tried and the result of testing another device.

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro issues on Windows 11

I also have the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (and like them!) There are two parts to your answer.

Bluetooth earbuds, of whatever brand and model, are designed from the beginning to work with a mobile phone. Manufacturers test their earbuds with mobile phones, and the user instructions presume that you're using them with a mobile phone. It is a happy coincidence that Bluetooth earbuds can also work with the Bluetooth adapter in a computer. But it is a coincidence. If they work well with a computer, that's great. If they don't, oh well.

In particular, the Galaxy Buds were designed to work with the Galaxy Wearables app. There is a Galaxy Buds app in Microsoft Store, but it seems like it was designed for Samsung PCs and, as you'll see, it hasn't been updated in almost three years and doesn't exactly have stellar ratings.

The only thing you can do to help yourself is to reinstall everything from scratch, and if that doesn't work, to fiddle with the controls. If you can get the speakers or the mic to work well with your PC, consider yourself lucky.

(I use Soundcore earbuds with my Win11 PC. The audio is fidgety but usually works. The mic is useless.)
