Windows 10: Fully get rid of MS gaming overlay

Same issue as this one below but in windows 11: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-get-rid-of-ms-gaming-overlay-pop-up/f572b5c0-f1dd-40f8-a16b-7bcbe62b4690 ALL gaming / gamebar / everything with gaming through Microsoft is turned off and I still get this every single time I'm gaming, does someone know how to completely switch this off?

Issue with ms-gaming overlay

Good day JonYo1! I am Independent Advisor Paul R. and also a Microsoft/Windows user like you and I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are having an issue with regards to ms gaming overlay popup.

Kindly check and try the steps below and see how it goes.

- Right click on the Start button

- Click Settings > Gaming > Game Bar from the left side

- Toggle the switch for Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game Bar to Off

- Try to open the game again and check if the issue still persist

"can't open ms-gaming overlay link"

I keep getting an error message when starting some games: "can't open ms-gaming overlay link"

None of the suggestions I found on google were helpful, like disabling the XBox gaming bar or the Steam's overlay.

Nothing works.

 

Radeon Overlay not displaying all options

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?
