Windows 10: Forza Motorsport 7 online not working on Windows 10

Hi,

OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit - Version 2004 - Build 19041.421

I installed FM7 on my PC and now can't play online as I get the below error when trying to join any lobbies
Error: Failed to acquire server data

Windows 10 was reinstalled last weekend.


I have tried:

Tried restarting my internet router and modem = no difference

I have re-installed the game = no difference
Allowed in Windows 10 firewall = no difference
I turn off the Windows 10 Firewall = no difference
I opened ports on router = no difference
I put PC in DMZ on router = no differnce
Tried altogether = no difference

FM7 use to work fine a few months ago.

Microsoft is breaking tradition by announcing that Forza Motorsport will be made available to PC gamers via Windows 10.
The award-winning series, developed by Turn 10 Studios, has established itself as one of the best in the racing genre and had remained an Xbox exclusive since the release of the original Forza Motorsport in 2005.
That's all set to change in the spring, when Forza Motorsport 6: Apex races onto the Windows Store.
Turn 10's free-to-play title will be a stripped-down variant of Forza Motorsport 6 and will serve as "a powerful demonstration of what the ForzaTech engine can do when unleashed by DirectX 12 at resolutions up to 4K."

A number of PC players of the Forza Motorsport 7 demo have been complaining of stuttering, both during gameplay and within the menus. It also turns out that Forza 7 maxes out the usage of a single CPU core, rather than scaling the load across multiple threads and cores. According to developer Turn 10 Studios though, this was a conscious decision, designed to “minimise input latency.”
