Windows 10: Forza Horizon 3 Not Launching

Hi, I bought Forza Horizon 3 lately from the Windows Store on my PC and downloaded it. When I try to launch the game it fails to do so. I have searched a lot online and tried every single advice and troubleshooting method I found but nothing worked.


Please help me because I feel like I just wasted my money for nothing.

temporary solution!!!

For everyone who's having a crash at the launch of the game, my games crashes everytime! So tried to uninstall one of the DLC's, I have the Hotweels DLC. So I uninstalled that. Launched the game and it works!

So:

-Forza Horizon 3

-Hotweels DLC

-Blizzard Mountain DLC

1. Uninstall one of the DLC's (I'd suggest hotweels since it's the smallest dlc)

1.2 just to be sure reset in App & Features

2. Click play Forza from the start menu (your game should work by this step!)

3. Install hotweels DLC again.

Your game should work! this worked for me.

 

Forza Horizon 3 Not Launching

• Can you tell us if you receive any error messages when attempting to launch Forza 3?
• Were you able to launch other games on your computer?
• Can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try the following solutions below:

Solution 1: Run the Windows App troubleshooter provided on this
link.

Solution 2: Reset Windows Store cache

• Press Windows key + R to open Run.
• Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.
• Launch the game from the Windows Store.

Solution 3: Download any free app from Windows Store. Once done, try to launch the game.
