I am having an issue where a user folder on my computer says to be using ~70 GB, but when I check the size of its contents, it's around 12 GB. I've tried going through folder properties and optimizing the disc, but they don't fix the issue. I have attached images of what happens when I select the folder and go to properties vs. when I open the folder, select its contents, and then go to properties. The drive this folder is on is an SSD, if that helps at all.Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

Importing Storage Folders from WLM to Windows 10

    Hi,

To resolve your concern, see the steps below:

    • Create the folders; then, go to one of your storage folders.
    • Select all; then, drag them to the online folder. (It will sync over to your Windows 10 app via the online email service).

Let us know how it goes.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Files folders and storage

    Hi Peter,

We need more information to be bale to help you better with this issue. Are you facing any issues when saving the word documents or when composing any documents?

If the issue is with saving documents, where are you trying to save them and what is the error message displayed?

I would suggest you to check if the users folder is displayed as "read only'. Open File Explorer, click on the driver where windows is installed, and open the users folder. Right click on the users folder, and then check in the general tab, if it is shown
as 'read only'. If yes, I would suggest you to try these steps and check if the issue persists:

    • Open the properties of the main user profile folder where the files are

located (such as Documents, Pictures, etc).
    • Go to the Security tab and click Advanced.
    • Check the box at the bottom of this window. It is labeled "Replace all child

object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" and then click

      Ok.
