Windows 10: Fluctuating committed memory and system hangs on my Windows 11 laptop after installing the...

after the 2023-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5033375 update i'm facing issue with memory the committed memory is 10.3 gb suddenly in is increasing to 15gb and 26 gb.it resulting the laptop hang.before the update when I use chrome memory use will be 55-60 %. after the update I opened only chrome but its shows memory usage 90% and more and increasing the committed memory. this happen even when I open word or power point. some times even if no application/app is open it shows memory usage more. this is issue very annoying please help me.

Windows Commit memory leaks away at about 8GB/Hour

System is 32GBRam, from reboot I show commit memory of approx 6GB commted over the following 30 mins this ramps up to say 13.3/65.8 Gb

after a number of hours and the end of the days the system becomes unstable as commit memory hits maximum, and I have to reboot

I have ensured all updates are applied and monitored commit memory by process (in resource monitor) this shows no change in committed memory by process so the no suspect process is in the list.

What steps of diagnosis would anyone recommend....

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

System Reserved Memory issue

The reduction in available system memory depends on the configuration of the following:

• The devices that are installed in the computer and the memory that is reserved by those devices
• The ability of the motherboard to handle memory
• The system BIOS version and settings
• The version of Windows 10 that is installed
• Other system settings

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest that you check your system for memory problems.

Here's how:

• Type mdsched.exe in the search bar and select the best match.
• When prompted by the User Account Control, enter an admin user name and password, and click
  Yes.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run it.
