Windows 10: Fix unnecessary lag

Recently I reinstalled windows and decided to play roblox but when I get in the game for some reason I'm super laggy and im running on like 2 frames. This never happened to me when I reinstalled before I don't know what the issue is.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

How to fix lag on Windows 10?

I have already disabled WD, unnecessary startup services and I still get lag when I play a game called Borderlands 2 but no other game gets lag. Is it just the game that's corrupted? Should I wait for the next patch or something, cuz I was playing with my friend who has a Mack and he says he gets no lag whatsoever. Game details have already been lowered, and unnecessary files have bee removed as well.

 

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
