Windows 10: Filter favourite photos

HelloIs there a was howto filter favourite photos in the album both: web and desktop application?No, I don't want to see all my favoutie photos in the folder "Favourite". I have thousands of photos. I have a folder with 1000 photos from a vacation and I want to filter only the top starred photos. And I don't want to search it in thousands photos in Favourite folder.Thanks in advance

Windows 10 My Favourites list is gone!

I have loaded up Windows 10 and my favourites list is gone. This is pretty frustrating as I had a big list of favourites built up over a couple of years for work and my own personal browsing. I tried the adive offered by Krishna to Maggie in the forum which
was:

"I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps to restore the favourites.

• Click This PC
• Type %userprofile% into the Address bar
• Press Enter on your keyboard
• Right click the Favorites folder
• Click Properties
• Click Previous Versions
• Wait for the list of previous versions to load
• Select a version that was before you lost the files/folders
• Click Restore."

When I got to step 6 my previous versions list showed only today. Surely the loading of Windows 10 has not wiped out my Favourites? What can I do from here?

Photos and Favourites

Hello and thank you for your reply,

I am indeed referring to the Favourites in the Photos app, and i am indeed also correctly following the steps to add to Favourites, however the error "something went wrong" occurs regardless of whether i attempt to add to Favourites via the little heart button, or the right click method.

the file conversion methods via Paint etc. are better than the online converter, however not perfect, there are still artefacts. note that when changing the file type when downloading and simply slapping ".jpg" or ".jpeg" on the end, the conversion is perfect, there are no artefacts, but unfortunately, as stated, it won't go onto the Favourites if i download the file in such a way.

import favourites

Ive tried to import my windows 10 favourites to another laptop but it wont import them. The ones that coming up in favourites are nothing like my list can anybody suggest how I can get these back please
