    File won’t open! “Sorry, we couldn't find your file. Was it moved, renamed, or deleted?”


    I had a word document that was a “recovered file” I worked for hours on this file, and then saved it to my desktop for easy access under an actual file name instead of as “recovered document”. I closed my laptop and returned later. Instead of that document being there, the recovered document was showing. I searched in files and found the document. I opened it and got the following message “Sorry, we couldn't find your file. Was it moved, renamed, or deleted?CANIEP Pics data collection. docx”How can I get this document back??? It is not in the recycle bin.I am using Windows 11 Home vers

    Can´t open files from a certain folder

    Well, the process found some corrupt files, but the ones I couldn´t open are still unopenable...

    Office files doesn´t open after Win10 update


    After Win10 update, some of office files won´t open.
    Some .docx and .pptx files especially.

    Any hints on this issue?

    Can't open or rename file (name is too long) WTF?

    Solved!!!!!

    Use 7zip.

    open the 7zip file manager, go to the folder of the long name file, select the file, right click on it and select "rename".
    erase some of the words of the file and press enter.
