Figuring out the cause of multiple BSOD's Windows 11

Hi :As the title implies, I have an issue that from time to time Windows is crashing and I'm getting BSOD's with various descriptions. I've installed WinDbg Preview in hope that I will understand how to read the Dump files and figure out the cause of those problems. But I don't understand a thing. That's why I'm asking for your help. You would probably like to know what I did just before I got the BSOD. I could easy tell that the cause of that my system crashed lately is because of the newly installed game. But the real problem is, that even if I uninstall the game and I wouldn't play it anymo

    :)

  2. How to figure out what is causing Windows 11 BugChecks

In the last few days my Windows 11 system has started to crash on a regular basis, and with various different BugCheck codes displayed on the BSOD, including:

    • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
I have exported the BugCheck entries from the System event log, and have copied and zipped a couple of MEMORY.DMP files, but I have no idea how to figure out what is causing the crashes.

    Any suggestions are very welcome!

    Thanks

Multiple BSODS with different errors, caused by ntoskrnl.exe

Wow thats a lot of usual causes!

Just to clarify / remove some things of that list, as mentioned the RAM has passed memtest multiple times, none of my hardware is OC'd, BIOS is fully up to date.

As far as I'm aware this is because its the single ram speed, and with it being DDR its 800*2=1600, I could be mistaken though?

As for the slots basically I was having BSOD's whenever any module was installed in one of the channels, so I had to move both modules over to the other channel, and this seemed to fix it, however I can move them back around to see what happens.

As for the memory I could have sworn I saw it on the supported list a while ago, ill check with the vendor of my PC.

Thanks for all the help Figuring out the cause of multiple BSOD's Windows 11 :)

    So whats the next step?

Windows 11 having multiple BSOD a day

I've noticed such a problem since 2 months ago. I've tried to replace my memory sticks. This is then followed by updating firmware and software. I tried to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as well. My final step was to reinstall Windows 11. All the steps have been performed but the issue is still happening, in fact much more frequent than before. Below are the errors that I see while BSOD:

    • WHEA Uncorrectable Error
    • DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
I've even run "sfc /scannow" and memory diagnostics, all return normal. I've no idea on what to do now. Hereby providing a .dmp file for your reference under my OneDrive. Link
