  1. Family Safety restrictions despite no longer being in one

Hello to all who read this post.10 years ago I used to be in a Microsoft Family Group with a parent as the head/adult of the group. Recently I was removed from that Family Group I requested to be so. Despite that, I continue to have restrictions in both settings and on online. Certain websites will demand I must have permission from an adult in order to access the site despite the fact I am an adult and no longer in a Family, and settings such as "permission and history" will not let me make any changes. I am an admin on my own computer, am legally an adult, and no longer in a Family, yet

    :)

Family Safety doesn't work on power saver

I tried everything you suggested, but nothing worked. I think the problem is that power saver restricts running Family Safety and other apps from running in the background. I can manually enable an app in the Settings, but there's no such app like Family
    Safety in the list.

  3. Windows 10 Family safety - child can disable all feature, why?

    Hi,

There may be a sync issue with the restrictions that has been applied to the child account. To isolate your concern regarding Family Safety, we recommend that you follow these steps:

    • Remove the Child account on the Family Safety website.
    • Change the passwords of your account.
    • Add the Child account again.
    • Add the restrictions to the Child account again.

Keep us updated with the results if your child will still be able to turn off the Family Safety feature after performing the steps above.

Family Safety Windows 10 Adult filtering restricts to allowed site list only

    Hi,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community, we’re here to help you with this issue.

Please answer the below questions to assist you better,

Are you managing the Family safety settings through the Family safety website or through the control panel?

If you are using the website, what level of web filtering restrictions did you apply?

If the web filtering restriction level is set to ‘Warn on adult’, it will allow all websites but only shows a warning when an adult website is visited. I would suggest you to set the web filtering level to either ‘Online communication’
or ‘General interest’ or ‘Designed for Children’ filters which will block all adult website. Refer to these steps:

    a) Log into the Family safety website (https://familysafety.microsoft.com/ ).

    b) Click on the child account and click on ‘Web filtering’ in the left pane.

    c) Click on “restriction level’ and choose the appropriate filter.

If you are managing Family safety through control panel, then follow these steps:

    a) Press Windows key + F, set the search filter to settings.

    b) Type ‘Family safety’ and click on the Family safety tile.

    c) Click on the child account and then click on the ‘Set web filtering’.

    d) Choose the appropriate filter.

I would also suggest you to follow the steps given under the section
Set limits on the websites your child can visit of the link given below.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows-10/set-child-limits

Try these steps and let us know the results for further assistance.
