Windows 10: Excel and pdf freezes, hang.

Whenever I connect to the Wi-Fi home or other place internet, my Excel & Word usually freeze for a long time. its buffering means keep going round and round. but the main thing is when i connect to the my office LAN its working smoothly, nothing is happen. same thing is happen with pdf and word also. I am using MS Office 2016 on Windows10 Professional. Dell Latitude 3520 i3 with 256GB SSD + 1TB Seagate Hdisk. 8GB RAM. All systems are fresh new one. * Moved from Community Center

converting Excel to PDF

I have been following the instructions to convert

1. file
2. export
3. create pdf
4. save as pdf
5. options, entire workbook , OK
6. Publish

The resulting file is not the excel sheet I have open, but rather one from Nov 2017

Excel files change to pdf on receipt

The previous fix worked for adobe files to change them from internet explorer to pdf. have the same problem with excel files as they change to pdf on receipt. I cannot use same procedure to change excel files from adobe back to excel files as the excel program
does not appear in the list after clicking change and more apps. Word appears but not excel.

How do I fix this.
