Windows 10: Everything showing zoomed too far in on new Win10 machine

I have a user whose laptop I just replaced at work. Everything was fine on his old machine, but on the new laptop both Windows 10 20H2 version apps are zoomed in to what looks like at least 125%. I have checked resolution recommended is set for both monitors , zoom in Outlook is set to 100% again, appears to be at least 125%. Office apps Outlook, Excel also look huge. When I log in as myself on the same machine everything looks fine. I have updated drivers, tried different monitors - nothing seems to make a difference it's just HIS user logon on this new Win10 machine that shows larger t

Zoom won't open

Creating a new user account on the Windows machine worked for us. When we logged in as the new user, Zoom worked fine.

 

Badly zoomed in on all Office products and Explorer

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.

Zoom won't open

Thanks, but as the links all show, there's no feedback from ZOOM and the only one suggestion is a virtual machine, which is just nuts.

Until they respond (Zoom) I'll just have to use my iPhone.
