Windows 10: Errors occuring during "create a system image"

I have been trying to create a system image with “Backup or restore your files”/”Create a system image” function in Windows 10. I have been unable to make an image, and have encountered three errors. First, ““New bad clusters found on the source volume. These clusters were not backed up 0x8078007D.” The second error is “Windows Backup encountered an error when writing data to the backup target. 0x80780166 Additional information: A device which does not exist was specified. 0x800701B1.” The third error is a BSOD which indicated “Driver power state failure.”I have Lenovo T430 with Microsof

New to creating system image

Kenny, I do not use Backupper but I suggest Backup rather than Clone and, at least for your first one, Disk backup. If it then asks about Full, Differential or Incremental choose Full. Get your first image made onto an external disk and study the Help file as dalchina suggested. Paul might well step in to offer further advice. Best of luck, Denis

 

Creating a System Image backup - keeps looping

I understand the inconvenience caused, now that you have me with you let me take care of this.

The system image is exactly like the mirrored copy of the Operating System which contains the configuration of the Operating System. When you create backup system image your windows 10 comes back to the same position at when the image was created earlier.

As an initial step, I suggest you to make sure that the services required for backup to run successfully is enabled. Refer to these steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R
  keys, type services.msc and press Enter.
  
• 
  In the services window, locate the services
  File history service and the Volume shadow copy service and check if they are running.
  
• 
  If they are not running, right-click and select
  Start to manually start the service.
  
• 
  Check if you are able to create a backup now.

Step 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to boot the computer in a clean boot state and then check.

Unable to use System restore from a windows 10 image on Windows 7 with error: "windows cannot find a system image-the usb drive is not visible"

Thanks for replying to us with the status of your issue.

As you mentioned, when you connect the USB flash drive in to the system then the System image backup is not present. It might occur if the System image files is not created properly or may be it got corrupted.

As an initial steps I suggest you to check for the memory space in the USB flash driver.

If the Memory is occupied in the USB flash drive the I suggest you to try running check disk on USB flash drive and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps to perform Check Disk.

  Press Windows + X on your keyboard.
  
• 
  Select Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type the below commands.
  
  Chkdsk [drive letter]: /f /r
