Windows 10: Error: System cannot find the file specified. 0x8007002.

I am trying to back up my Laptop. After backing up, WHICH TAKES FOREVER, it tells me - Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\UsersJ-E-K\Desktop\2023 TISH XMAS MUSIC. Error: System cannot find the file specified. 0x8007002.Please help me remove this file so I can properly update/back-up my laptop. As far as I can tell this file does not exist.

Error message 0x8007002 when Microsoft tries to automtically update Windows 10.

I can't back up my files; I keep getting the error message: Windows can't find file specified (0x80070002). The skipped files are: C:\Users\Carol\OneDrive\Documents; Error: (the system can't find the files specified (0x8007002)

 

Cannot find specified file error — no solution works

Windows Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

On April 13th, apparently there were a lot of Windows updates (most regarding Office 2010). The following day I started the error message on virtually all of my software "Cannot find specified file."

I know this is a common issue but it's the first time I've ever encountered it. I have tried every troubleshooting step in every forum, YouTube tutorial, and Google search I could find and nothing worked. In that tutorial, the "Mark partition as active" prevented my computer from booting and I had to repair it to get it working again. The last step "Verify the System Log File to Find the Problematic Driver File" didn't have the "cannot find file" in the folder it said to locate and move.

Finally, I performed a clean install of Windows 10 and the issue persists. Now, I have a computer I can't do any work on (artwork, music production, mixing, mastering, etc) and I'm totally miffed as to how to fix this problem. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Bitlocker Error: The system cannot find the file specified

I was encrypting my Drive "D" and system got shutdown due to power loss. After turning on the system I was unable to decrypt the drive. I'm receiving the error "The system cannot find the file specified" while entering the password. I tried below steps but nothing helped.

1. Press Windows key + E, to open File Explorer.
   
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Recovery.
   
3. Look for REAgent.xml file, right click on it and click on Rename.
   
4. Rename the file to REAgent.old.
   
5. If you receive any prompt click on Yes.
   
6. Start the Bit Locker encryption process.
