Windows 10: Error: PerfNet 2004

Hello all, I've recently been troubled from being unable to play a specific game Warhammer with the issue PerfNet Error code: 2004, I've read another post on this suggesting restarting the 'Server' service but did not succeed in doing so.. I've also contacted Microsoft support and was suggested that it may be a BIOS issue as previously it was causing issues also with Perflib 1023 Error code.. What should I do in this circumstance? Appreciate the assistance.

How to resolve PerfNet Event ID 2004?

I am running Windows 10 Pro
version 1809 build
17763.168

I have been noticing the following error in the Event Viewer and was wondering what this error means and how to resolve this error if possible?

Error Code 2004

I am repeatedly getting perfnet error code 2004. I am attempting to play a few games (Star Citizen, Bannerlord), but I keep getting these errors roughly 20 mins into the game. The error is surrounded by error codes 1008, and 2002.

This is the message of the error

"Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code."

I attempted to use the fix previusly posted on this support forum but doesnt seem to have done the trick. Any help is welcome. Is this a GPU/CPU problem or what?
