Windows 10: Error installing updates KB5042099 2024-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and...

While installing the new update, upon the restart my Bios HP omen specifically popped up with an "something is wrong, attempting to repair BIOS" message, and eventually the windows 11 maintenance/boot option screen appeared, I then proceeded to start windows 11, and it automatically reverted to a previous version before the update. I've read several articles and help guides and tried various fixes, but nothing has worked so far. Any help would be appreciated!
