Windows 10: Error Event id : 161 volmgr

My PC keeps crashing or freezing. Evey time I need to hold the power key to restart.First it happens every half an hour and the time keeps decreasing to 10 then to 5, eventually my PC will not boot into BIOS and I need to remove the CPU and reset CMOS to start again and the same happens repeatedly. My error Event Id is 161 volmgr

Event 161 volmgr - means volume manager driver file - NOT connected VOLUME on the computer sound.


Due to the length of time between the errors it is likely to be some software application rather than a hardware issue of ram, a drive fault or a PSU fault

The other possible cause is a power issue to the computer itself rather than a stable supply to the computer - with a problem of the PSU itself.

DO YOU KNOW the power supply to the property is defintely stable
Is the computer power lead connected to some manner of power strip or UPS

If so try connecting direct to AC outlet

In addition to the slow restarts and i am getting a bit of input lag while in Windows. However it seems stable with no BSOD as yet.
