Hello! When I try to install a program from Microsoft Store it just says: ''Error encountered. One of the update services is not running properly.'' I've tried troubleshooting the problem but nothing has worked for me. Firstly I ran a quick scan, nothing found.Secondly I attempted to troubleshoot windows update, it gave me the result: ''Some security settings are missing or have been changed.''Thirdly I tried to check for windows update but it just says ''Something went wrong. Secondly I attempted to troubleshoot windows update, it gave me the result: ''Some security settings are missing or have been changed.''

Thirdly I tried to check for windows update but it just says ''Something went wrong. Try to reopen Settings later.''

Vista Automatic Updating Error

Automatic Updates isn't currently running.

 

Error encountered. One of the update services is not running properly.

Press Win + R, type services.msc and click OK. This opens the Services MMC.



Inspect the startup type of the following services and try to start them:

• Windows Update [Start type: Manual]
  
• Background Intelligent Transfer Service [Start type: Manual]
  
• Update Orchestrator Service [Start type: Automatic (delayed start)]
  
• Delivery Optimization [Start type: Automatic]
  

If some services are missing or unable to start, post the error message(s) here.

• Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST64.exe) [See also: Collect Farbar Recovery Scan Tool logs.]
  
• Rename FRST64.exe to EnglishFRST64.exe.
  
• Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
  
• Upload the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to your OneDrive and share the link here.
  

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears.
