    Error Dllregisterserver failed with error code 0x80020009


    The issue is already posted in this link but it is locked: Error Dllregisterserver failed with error code 0x80020009 - Microsoft CommunityMy search for this error code got me to that post but the answer does not solve it. I later got the solution but can't post it there because it is locked.The error comes when you try to register a component such as a dll or an ocx file. The error is misleading/incomplete.Anyways, the Solution: Run your "regsvr32 component.dll" in a console with admin rights. That is it.I will post the above sentence as an answer in a moment.
