    Error Code 0xc1900201


    Just tried & failed to upgrade my Microsoft Surface Studio 2 to Windows 11. It passed the Health Check, but towards the end of the installation it throws up the following error message: 0xc1900201. This apparently means that the CPU does not meet the requirement, yet it appears in the list of supported CPUs for Windows 11: Intel Core i7-7820HQ. Any suggestions, please?

    Mike,

    I followed the YouTube tutorial. As I said previously the very first step failed. I continued following the tutorial to the end. The Powershell step - WUAUCLT.EXE /UPDATENOW did not function as in the tutorial. After going through all the steps I reran the Windows 10 Update Assistant. I ended up in the exact same place as before. "Something went wrong" error code 0xc1900201.

    Any other advice?

    trying to upgrade to windows 10 from 8.1 I have SSD drive error is telling me can't install usb drive. It is my C: drive 500gig get error code 0xc1900201 how do I install on my SSD drive ?

    Anyone help?
